Wedding in an Historic Church

Constance Annie Caddy and James Harold Herbert were married in 1910 at the Wesley Church, Perth and it appears that this church is the historic Wesley Church at 75 William Street and Hay Street intersection in Perth, Western Australia.  It is one of the oldest church buildings and one of few remaining 19th-century colonial buildings in the City of Perth.  The history of the church can be read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wesley_Church,_Perth

Unfortunately I don’t have a photograph of the church from my own personal collection. But I’m sure on a trip to Perth in the near future, we can remedy that.

The witnesses of this union were Georgina Cannon and James Horatio Caddy. As it turns out, Georgina and James married in 1914. Their marriage details can be found at the WA Online Indexes. The older gentleman in this photo is that of James Ryan Caddy.
